Hans Rosling does infographcis at their finest, explained with everything from rocks to high-tech. As Nathan Yau says – every day is a good day to listen to Hans Rosling talk numbers, and my opinion is these can be good days for both adults and kids.
Some of my favorite Rosling talks include:
- Legos to explain population growth and climate change (~3 min)
- One minute TED talk with rocks to talk about world economy (~1 min)
- Global trends in health and economics (~20 min)
- 200 Countries, 200 Years (~5 min) (I can almost see John Cronin doing this :)) – pretty interesting effect when he gets to the Industrial Revolution (The full one hour BBC documentary – The Joy of Stats)
